Hello!

I have now been in Honduras for 2 weeks, 2 weeks have gone by so fast,
I am excited with all that is going on here, and all the Lord is doing,
I went to Gracias, Honduras this past weekend to see something other then La Esperanzana,
it was nice, I am thankful for the fact schol is going well.

I am also happy that I am making friends here, my life has been good and a couple of nights ago, my host family was talking to me about me staying or the whole school year(: I`ll consider it in three months, lol. anyways, below are some pitures from the weekend. I am feeling a little homesick this week, but my host family is helping me.

Blog upate

Blog update 2!

Sorry, I have not wrote much internet connection here is shady, sometimes I can make it to the internet and other days I can't. I just sent out another update but perhaps I'll put some other information in this blog.

I am loving it here, I am kinda homesick but I think my first month will be hard, it was harder yesterday when I celebrated my 16th birthday with my sister and host family, I was kinda sad because it was the first birthday away from home. But I'm happy and thankful for the host family who so willingly takes care of me. The Mom and Dad are amazing, The boys are funny, and I'm feeling at home here. It helps to Have Felicia and a Host family that loves me and I love them. I am also looking forward to meeting another foreign exchange student in late August. She is from Italy or so I hear, another girl is coming from America but going the neighbor school of Southwest. On Thur I toured the school and met my teachers, they are very nice. I am learning Soccer like crazy, and my Spanish coming ok. I am taking a french class in English it should be interesting because I'm learning Spanish too. I'll be really Bi lingual! I'm also enjoying the church, the message on Sunday spoke to me, (it was translated) it was talking about Joseph and his test of faith with Potiphers wife, but the pastor was talking about spiritual test and maturity and giving up the pleasures for God's will. To top things off I have been reading about in my devotions about denying your self and following Christ and to cast of anything and go and tell all God has done for you. I am so eager for what the Lord has planned for me. I am so excited!

Dios te bendiga,
Josiah

Blog post 1

Blog update

I visited the biggest lake in Honduras and toured La Esperanza, I am getting familiar with the Spanish language, I enjoyed touring La Esperanza and scouting out my missions field(: The town is wonderful and the lake was awesome! We ate fish and fried bananas yesterday and today we had Beans, tortilla, beef (Very good beef) with real pineapple juice. I am not looking forward to school starting and I am also slightly nervous about it, I known God will work it out and his plans are not my plans. I also know that the Lord has called me and he is faithful! I am happy here and I have not felt the effects of homesick yet, a couple of prayer request are:

Pray for me to be able to hand out tracts.
Pray for the word to be spread to my host family and for me to be a witness
Pray for the La Esperanza
Pray for My school work that I can get good grades
Pray for my Classmates

Praise reports:
I have already planted seeds in the hearts of my host family
We made it to La Esperanza safely
I am quickly adapting to the culture(:

I am sorry about no pictures right now,
I have to go it is getting dark out
I will post some later.

I am really busy and I just got back from a soccer game and surprisingly enough the players were impressed. I am listening to the sounds of the city as a soccar game is going on. I am also preparing for a soccer game between Costa Rica and Honduras. The town is crazy about it! I have to go now
