What is commitment?

Something that has been on my heart lately is the topic of commitment, this past week the Lord has spoke to me so much and it hurts but it's good. I was doing some bible verse searching recently and came across this bible verse from 1st Peter 4:19 “Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to him in doing good, as to a faithful creator”(NKJV)
This verse spoke to me and really made me think about my level of commitment to what the Lord has me doing here in Honduras, I was thinking about all the Lord has allowed me to do and how blessed I am. But I also was thinking of how much I need to commit in the next 3 months. 3 months is 3 months and it is my time of commitment. It's not long so I need to give it my all, it is God's will for my life, so I need to do it all for the glory of God! Commitment is giving it your all and simply being used by God for his glory. We are to Commit our SOULS to him in doing good, in doing the work of God!

I pray you will be blessed by the level of commitment when you decide to step out of your comfort zone and really commit to what ever area God has called you
