Concept of "third- world"

I wanted to share something interesting with you guys, yesterday I was at a care center with my great grandma (She is celebrating 100 years) and local piano player started chatting with me about Honduras after my grandparents brought it up, the below questions were rather interesting.
1. In terms of Haiti how third-world is Honduras?
2. Did you have internet?
3. what language is it?
These are all logical question just interesting considering the depth of the first one, "in terms of Haiti" the focus is once again on Haiti, Honduras is not that third world in terms of Haiti. Honduras survives, they are not in my opinion "Third-world" like others make it to be, yes they have the poor.....just like the states.
But overall they are not third world like Haiti, they have coffee as a main export thus why they survive more. The line that defines a third world country is so hard to define. I would define Africa as one but maybe not El Salvador. I have learned to be careful about what terms to use to define a third world country. Or how to define Honduras in terms of poverty. Hondurans have told me "We are not poor we are just right" while yet it seems kids are always roaming the streets.
anyways, I'm currently trying to get an app on here that would allow a "unreached person of the day" to show every day on this blog.
