I am about to write about a new concept to most of the church something radical.
The idea is this; what if we as a body of Christ moved solely in the Holy spirit and we
lived our daily lives centered around the word, and the Holy Spirit?
This is why I want to write a mini series on walking in the Holy spirit.
but to kick this off we must examine what the life of one who is filled with the Holy Spirit will be like. lets look at the bible verse in Ezekiel in which we see that those of the spirit simply go where the Lord calls them.
"Wherever the spirit wanted to go, they went, because there the spirit went." Ezekiel 1.20
"Because there the spirit went...."
that is the core of living daily in the spirit, that is the whole purpose of walking daily in it. Without going where the Lord leads we would all be stuck in one place.
This whole idea is so radical for me and for the world. Imagine the impact of a spirit filled life, but before I start giving a pep talk. We need to understand that in this walk we will face trials, disappointments, etc. Others will think we are crazy and to them we may seem that way. But please at least try walking only in the spirit for a week. It is amazing, we as believers need to walk our whole life in the spirit but it is easier then done. We must dye to ourselves.
please pray for the spirit to move as we examine a spirit filled life.

Yes! :) So, I a leader here last night talked to us interns about the Holy Spirit, and I was blown away by the teaching. He explained that all of God we will every have is already inside of us. The key to receiving knowledge of Him and of walking in the Spirit is communing with the Holy Spirit inside of us and letting the Holy Spirit penetrate into our soul, changing who we are. He also talked about how because God is inside of us, the power to conquer sin dwells within us! Too often we give sin more power than God. Instead, we need to turn to the Holy Spirit in faith and ask Him to conquer the sin in us. So many interesting and true thoughts! I'm still ruminating...may be posting about this on my blog! :)
