prayer

I'm taking a day away from our series about Missions around the world and focusing on prayer as a topic.
Prayer? what is it? Prayer is the source of a relationship with God it is as if you are talking with your best friend. But as a church we have labeled prayer as a form of "religious" activity we have limited it through our long endless repetitive prayers.
we are losing the gift of prayer, as a body of Christ we have seemed to lost the need for prayer or the urgency of prayer. But as we look at the new testament we see the early church praying daily and they were multiplied. Paul was a praying man who said to pray without ceasing. This is the first goal that needs to be established, unless we pray we will not see fruits we need to come to that point and don't get me wrong I am still working on that too, but I feel there is so much missing today in missions because we have not taken time to seek the Lord.
there is something supernatural that happens when we pray something that moves, and it is called the Holy spirit. I am passionate about prayer in missions and you need to be too. This is the foundation of our christian walk and it is everything needed in missions.
Please take time to pray and seek the Lord,
Josiah
